Wire-tier Reuters headline (Aug 12, 2026, within window July16-Aug15): 'North Korea fires missile ahead of major US-South Korea drills' confirms a completed ballistic missile launch. Al Jazeera (wire tier) corroborates: 'N Korea launches ballistic missile as S Korea, US plan military drills' (Aug 12, 2026). Multiple additional reports describe this as North Korea's 11th missile test of 2026 and a 'second ballistic missile test in less than a week.' This meets the claim's threshold of at least one additional ballistic missile test/provocation within the 30-day window (July 16 - Aug 15, 2026).
